It was an experiment in chance overlaying & juxtaposing with the imagery I had produced earlier in the project. I did a project earlier this year with a group of illustrators based around countries. I was given Canada and I made the fabric print and boat in the first image as a response to my research. <br /> <br />I used this simple pattern as a starting point for some silver work. Just two very minimal pendants for now. It will be interesting to try interpreting the more complex shapes. These are 100% pure wool felt coasters (nice and soft, but strong).<br /><br />It's been a busy few days catching up with business after a week away with friends. They're cut from solid 3mm Walnut. In September I started a degree in Illustration at Brighton University. But when we got down under the clouds and trees the woods were lush with light and moss.
